Fit Foundations…Build a Healthy Body

A core building group designed to strengthen your physical core through stability, mobility then load bearing movement. Incorporating a variety of fun challenging activities, you will become more functional in basic movement patterns, improve balance and flexibility, increase muscular strength and endurance, and tune up your nutrition to reach goals of a healthier BMI.

Meets Mondays at 4;30 pm in the Ballroom. Cost is based on session length. Contact Karen for details


Fit Challenge… Rocking Fitness

Take your current fitness level to new heights through challenging individual and group training periods including HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), Tabata protocols, circuit and strength training. Appropriate for most fitness levels.

Meets Mondays and Thursdays 6:30pm. Session Cost varies

*Nutritional Guidance *Private social media group designed to support and provide interaction* “Homework” to build momentum toward your goals.        Forest Oaks Membership not required

Gentle Yoga, Dynamic Balance and Stretch

Gentle Yoga/Active Stretch is a class designed to increase flexibility, Balance, Range of Motion and muscular strength. Safely designed for all ages. You will move your body through a series of seated and standing yoga poses, incorporating both dynamic and static stretching techniques.

Meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10am. Complimentary to Forest Oaks members; $5 per class to non-members

Small Group Personal Training

A cost-effective way to work with a certified personal trainer. Group size is limited to two to four women to ensure plenty of attention and guidance regarding individual needs and goals, exercise programming and behavior modification to achieve better overall health and well-being.

Karen is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, a nationally recognized industry leader. Additionally, she holds certifications through Healthways and the Functional Aging Institute as a Silver Sneakers Group Exercise Instructor and Functional Aging Specialist.

Her passion is for all people to develop a sustained, healthy lifestyle. Her niche is mid-life women.
